Tay + Rafi | Wedding · Bright, Joyful & Classic

One year ago, in Downtown Kansas City, Taylor and Rafael said I do at The Bride and The Bauer! It was a day filled with joy and such deep kindness and one that I’ll never forget.

Taylor was the maid of honor in another wedding I photographed. That bride, Ally, was the maid of honor in Tay and Rafi’s wedding – so fun! I love the full circle of getting to photograph friends’ weddings!!

There were so many special touches from this day. From the custom cufflinks Tay had made for Rafi, to her dad playing a song on the guitar during his speech, it was clear that we were in the midst of deep love, not only between the couple, but also with their people!

During the speeches, the one thing that was most noticeable is that Tay and Rafi love BIG. They are always ready to lend a helping hand, to listen, and care for you no matter what; it definitely makes sense they both work in the medical field. It also makes sense they found one another along the way and I have no doubt they will spend their lives taking care of one another and their people!!
