Greenhouse No. 7 Wedding in Milwaukee | Diana + Aadyn
Diana and Aadyn’s Greenhouse No. 7 wedding in Milwaukee, WI was one of those days that felt joyful, intentional, and deeply meaningful from the very beginning! From a breathtaking church ceremony to a glowing glass-ceiling reception, their wedding day was the perfect blend of classic beauty, personal moments, and laid-back celebration with the people they love most!
Before the big day, Diana shared with me something that made me even more excited to work with her and Aadyn:
“Our wedding is something that I’ve been dreaming about nearly every day since I was a kid. I can’t believe it is actually happening! I would describe us as a laid-back couple. We really are just about enjoying the day and spending it with the people we love.”
Diana’s bridal details were a big highlight and amazing way to kick off the beautiful day! Her royal blue and white Betsey Johnson shoes were the perfect pop of personality and paired beautifully with her invitations and details. Photographing those early moments — styling with florals, textures, and family heirlooms — is one of my favorite ways to begin a wedding day, and Diana’s details were such a dream!
One of my favorite memories from the day happened while Diana was getting ready. Fully dressed and surrounded by her bridesmaids and parents, she raised a glass for a champagne toast. With tears in her eyes and the biggest smile on her face, she laughed and said, “I just freaking love Aadyn!” The entire room burst into laughter. It was sweet, honest, and so perfectly her!
They got married at Basilica of Saint Josaphat, an absolutely stunning Milwaukee church that never fails to take your breath away. With its grand architecture, intricate details, and timeless beauty, the Basilica created the most reverent and emotional setting for Diana and Aadyn to say “I do.”
Their love story is just as adorable! Diana shared how they met while attending Marquette University. One night out with friends — including Kait of Celebrate by Kait, who would later become their wedding planner — Diana noticed Aadyn talking to her friend Maria and asked, “Who is that guy? He’s really cute!” That simple moment sparked the beginning of their story.
So returning to Caffrey’s Pub on their wedding day felt especially meaningful. Before heading to their Greenhouse No. 7 wedding reception, Diana and Aadyn stopped there with their friends to grab a drink, laugh, and celebrate where it all began. It was such a fun, full-circle moment woven naturally into the day.
While they didn’t have a traditional wedding party, Diana and Aadyn were surrounded by friends throughout the day — getting ready together, riding the bus, and celebrating every moment. We also snuck away to Marquette’s campus for portraits, just the two of them, which felt incredibly special. Photographing them where they first met made those quiet moments even sweeter.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at Greenhouse No. 7, located inside the Mitchell Park Domes. This Milwaukee wedding venue is incredibly unique, with lush greenery and a stunning glass ceiling that allows natural light to pour into the space. As the evening unfolded, the light inside Greenhouse No. 7 created the most romantic, glowing atmosphere for the reception — soft, warm, and absolutely magical!
One of the biggest crowd-favorite moments came during Diana’s dad’s speech. He surprised everyone by pulling out a literal “ball and chain” — a bowling ball engraved with Diana and Aadyn’s names and their wedding date. The ball also featured the names and dates from other family weddings, making it an ongoing family tradition. As the room filled with laughter, he attached it to Aadyn’s ankle, sending guests into full belly-laugh mode. It was such a perfectly timed, lighthearted moment that fit Diana and Aadyn’s joyful, laid-back personalities so well.
But as stunning as the venue was, Diana and Aadyn somehow managed to make it feel even brighter. These two are some of the most genuinely welcoming, joyful people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. Their warmth filled every room they walked into, and their love for each other was evident in the smallest moments!
As the night continued inside Greenhouse No. 7, the space filled with laughter, celebration, and love beneath the glowing glass ceiling. Diana and Aadyn’s Greenhouse No. 7 wedding in Milwaukee was a true reflection of who they are — laid-back, joyful, and deeply in love. A day I’ll always cherish capturing!
Diana + Aaydn – Congrats, friends! I could not be happier for you two and it was such a honor to capture day! You both shine so much joy everywhere you go and are so warm to be around. I can’t wait to see where this next season takes you!! Bug hugs!!
