Anna and Adam held their wedding at The Delafield Hotel in downtown Delafield, Wisconsin on a hot summer day!
The Delafield Hotel is pure wedding venue perfection. If you’re looking for a charming venue that offers elegance, sophistication, and luxury, then The Delafield Hotel should be at the top of your list. The property is an amazing backdrop for wedding photos, and downtown Delafield has a lot to offer out-of-town guests.
Anna and Adam met at Erin Hills Golf Course. It took them a while to actually start talking to each other, but once they did these two were inseparable. They’ve been together now for about 3 years.
Adam proposed to Anna in October, and although it wasn’t the proposal he planned (according to Adam, it was plan D) it was still just as memorable for both of them. They went to a local pumpkin patch to pick some pumpkins for Halloween, and once they were out in the field, Adam got down on one knee, dirt and all, and popped the question!
The couple’s wedding at The Delafield Hotel took place on a hot (and I mean HOT) summer day. Overall, the flow of the day was super laid back, which matched Anna and Adam’s personalities. Family is important to both of them, so they made sure to include their family in the celebration whenever they could. They have a lot of nieces and nephews, and the couple made sure to include all of them in their wedding party. Anna also wanted to include her grandmother, so she wore her pearls as a wedding day accessory.
Before the festivities began, Adam had one more surprise up his sleeve. He gave Anna an upgraded engagement ring with a larger diamond. He also included a sweet note for Anna to read before she walked down the aisle.
After a traditional ceremony at a local church, we ventured out to take photos with the family and wedding party. Did I mention it was hot outside? To take a break from the heat, we made a pit stop at Reveres, a local tavern that was right next to The Delafield Hotel. The couple saw a few of their guests at the bar, so they got to enjoy a pre-reception celebratory beer, and the wedding party got to take a well-deserved break with some ice-cold drinks.
Next, the couple headed into their reception and celebrated their big day with friends and family. At sunset, we escaped to the roof of The Delafield Hotel. They allowed us access to their rooftop patio to take photos during a perfect sunset and they are stunning! I’m so glad they got to sneak away from the action and take photos with just the two of them. Celebrating with friends and family is important, but at the end of the day, it’s all about you, your partner, and the connection you share.
Anna and Adam, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I had so much fun with you guys and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.
