Gather on Broadway

Wedding

High school sweethearts Morgan and Mason tied the knot on a summer day in Green Bay, WI! For their wedding reception venue, the couple chose Gather on Broadway, which is located in the center of Green Bay’s Broadway district. The venue is a fully-restored historic automotive shop that was built in 1945. With its exposed brick, original steel beams, and wooden ceilings this place is seriously gorgeous! It’s super open, and it’s the perfect combination of historic charm and modern elegance!

Morgan and Mason met in high school. Morgan was sophomore and Mason was senior, so they had been dating for almost 13 years before they got married! Their epic relationship managed to survive periods of long distance throughout high school and college, so their wedding day was greatly anticipated!

Mason proposed to Morgan while they were enjoying a weekend up north in Door County, WI. They went on a morning bike ride to Peninsula State Park, and once they got to the lighthouse, Mason popped the question! He told Morgan he wanted to take a photo of her looking out at the water, and while her back was to him, he got down on one knee! When they returned to their Airbnb, there was an engagement cake and mimosas waiting for them. Mason’s sister came to surprise Morgan from Denver, and Morgan’s family drove up that day in order to celebrate with them. Morgan and Mason said it was truly the most perfect day!

Speaking of perfect days, Morgan and Mason’s wedding day could not have been more perfect! The timeline was very laid back, so we had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy all of the little moments throughout the day. The weather was a bit dark and rainy in the beginning, but it let up just in time for the wedding party portraits at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens. We also got some stunning solo portraits of Morgan in her beautiful wedding dress from White Dress Bridal Boutique in the blooms!

After the botanical gardens, we went to the couple’s favorite bar and a Green Bay Classic, Hagemeister Park, and they each ordered their signature drink; an old fashioned for Mason and wine for Morgan! What made it extra fun, is when they walked in, tons of their family and friends were there cheering them in. Celebrations at every corner! We took a few photos by the river, and since we had plenty of time, the couple and their party really got to enjoy the moment! I always recommend building in moments like these if it fits your day!

Morgan’s favorite color, green, was highlighted in the décor and the wedding party attire. She also had her grandmother’s gorgeous emerald pinky ring throughout the day to keep her close!

Since Morgan and Mason were high school sweethearts, their families were well-acquainted with each other, and everyone was so excited to celebrate (and dance!) with them! As Morgan’s sister said in her speech, not many couples can say they’ve been together for over a decade before they even get married!

Morgan and Mason- You two have something truly special! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day! I’m so excited to see what the future has in store for you! Hugs – Taylor
