Haley and Adam’s celebrate their wedding day at The Club at Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and it was a perfect July day! Their wedding day was all about family as they both come from large families. The Club at Lac La Belle’s 1896 room is a completely renovated space with floor to ceiling windows, neutral colors, and rich hardwood floors that give the space that rustic modern feel. The event space was the perfect size for Haley and Adam’s fairly large reception! 

Haley and Adam first met in middle school! They dated for over 7 years before Adam popped the question. After middle school, Haley and her family moved to South Carolina, so the couple endured a long-distance relationship throughout their high school years. Currently, the couple lives in Greenville, South Carolina. Adam proposed to Haley on July 3rd, 2021 on Crowders Mountain while on vacation in North Carolina! 

Overall, Haley and Adam’s wedding day was very laid back. Their ceremony was held at Watertown Moravian Church in Watertown, WI. Adam’s parents AND grandparents got married in the same church, so the ceremony meant a lot to both families! 

For transportation between the ceremony and reception, the couple booked an adorable trolley car that was big enough for their entire wedding party. It was so much fun and made for some pretty unique photos!  

While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we took tons of family photos. As I mentioned, both Haley and Adam had very large families, and since many had traveled to be with them on their big day, they wanted to make sure that nobody got left out. 

Before cocktail hour ended, Adam’s brother’s gave Adam and his groomsmen holiday ties that had been gifted from his grandpa over the years. Let me explain! Adam’s grandpa had recently passed, and he was a huge part of Adam’s life. His grandpa had this tradition where he would give holiday themed ties to every man in the family on their wedding day. So, since he couldn’t be present at Adam’s wedding, his brothers took over the sweet tradition! It was such a tender moment for all! 

The reception in the 1896 Room was so much fun, and everyone had a blast out on the dance floor (including Adam’s grandma!). It was a warm Wisconsin summer day, so guests enjoyed the outdoor patio at The Club as well as the cool air conditioning inside. Such a special day and an evening I know all their guests won’t forget!
