Molly and John tied the knot in Osprey, Florida and the celebration was held at Bay Preserve at Osprey! It’s a gorgeous waterfront venue on Little Sarasota Bay surrounded by towering oak trees. This west Florida wedding venue was so dreamy and truly one of a kind!
When I first met with Molly and John, I asked them what their ideal wedding would be like. Both of them said, “loud and fun!” And that’s exactly how I would describe their big day! It was just the best and these two are truly so FUN!
The couple met online, but they’re both convinced their paths would have crossed eventually in downtown Milwaukee. Molly is from Florida but moved to Milwaukee about five years ago for work, which is John’s home town. The two have been together about four years!
Back in May of 2021, Molly and John took a vacation to Charleston, SC. Little did she know that John had a plan to pop the question during their trip! He wrote her a heartfelt letter and hired a photographer to capture the big moment. Molly said she had no idea he was planning to propose, and it was a complete surprise!
Molly and John’s big day was indeed loud and fun, but it was also super laid back! According to Molly’s sister, Molly has a reputation as a very relaxed and “chill” person. She is known as the “sure girl,” as she is always willing to go with the flow of life!
Before Molly slipped into her wedding dress, her mom and sisters gave her a box filled with letters from their family members. It was a really sweet moment they all got to share before the excitement began!
Molly and John’s wedding day weather was extremely hot and humid (typical Florida weather), and they even dealt with a quick downpour right before the ceremony, but luckily everything dried up just in time for guests to arrive at their outdoor reception. They had a huge white tent to hold all their guests and it was filled with wicker chandeliers and florals galore! It was all stunning!
After a few photos of the newlyweds on the docks at Bay Persevere at the Osprey, it was time to party!! Molly and John are huge Packers fans. During Molly’s dad’s speech, he gifted the couple a share of the Green Bay Packers in their new married name. The guests were so excited, “Go Pack Go!” chant broke out during the speech!
Molly and John are also music lovers, and they wanted to incorporate their interests into their reception, so the table names were all bands or singers they’ve seen live together. I thought it was such a creative idea!
The couple danced the night away with family friends and loved every minute of their loud and fun wedding day! As many of their guests were from Florida the ‘Gator chomp’ of course broke out as well! Such a fun and memorable evening for all!
