Karley and Adam tied the knot on July 9th, 2022, at The Gage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and WOW was it FUN!! The couple first met during their college years at Illinois State University. They were both student athletes, so naturally they invited their college mascot, an ISU Redbird, to be a guest of honor at their wedding reception. It was a really fun personal touch, and their guests really got a kick out of it!
Adam proposed to Karley in 2020 on HIS birthday. He really wanted to surprise Karley, so he figured proposing on his birthday would be unexpected, and he was right! Since it was 2020, they rented out an igloo at a wine bar and Karley’s immediate family were luckily able to attend!
Professionally, Karley and Adam are both in the healthcare field, which makes perfect sense because their tenderness towards each other and their loved ones was unmistakable. They were so sweet with each other and everyone they interacted with on their wedding day!
Overall, Karley and Adam’s wedding day was super laid back. Both the ceremony and reception took place at The Gage, which always makes things flow easily. I loved their choice of venue! The event planning team at The Gage has truly thought of everything. With 7,000 square feet of space, you can host your dream wedding with up to 300 guests. And with its modern industrial features, including exposed cream city brick and metal beams, you can totally customize the space to fit your specific taste. Karley and Adam went with light colors and a whimsical floral arrangement that was so stunning and unique! Great White Farm truly did an amazing job with the wedding décor. The flower arrangements fit the couple’s fun personalities to a tee!
The weather on this particular summer day was hot! But Karley and Adam’s wedding party members were real troopers! We took their wedding party and individual photos along the water with the Milwaukee Art Museum as a backdrop, and of course they turned out amazing. Honestly, my favorite part of the day was when I had Karley and Adam in front of the camera. They are so photogenic and their genuine love for each other was evident in their wedding photos! We took so many photos it’s really hard for me to choose my favorites!
Karley and Adam’s reception was a blast! The couple, their friends, and of course, the ISU Redbird LOVED to dance! They had a phenomenal wedding band, and the dance floor was packed all night long. There was just so much joy in the room; it was an honor to be a part of the fun. We ended the night with a sparkler send off from the wedding party!
Karley and Adam- Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I had so much fun and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for both of you. You two deserve the best!! Big Hugs – TK
